Global Research Partnerships - Africa, South Asia
🌍 Build Africa & South Asia's talent with us!
At BMY Health, we are building a unique bridge that connects African & South Asian students and researchers directly to our established research platforms in Canada and Pakistan. As we launch this initiative across these emerging economies, we are seeking two types of partners to join us in making a meaningful and sustainable impact.
What Makes Our Program Different?
- Global Research Platforms: Students get connected to Canadian and Pakistani research platforms, gaining international exposure and collaboration opportunities in active research sites.
- Cross-Border Data Collection: We facilitate collaboration for collecting research data from Canada and Pakistan, enriching the scope and diversity of student projects, countries comparison, and knowledge exchange.
- Simplified Ethics Reviews: Our program offers ethics reviews aligned with rigorous Canadian standards, without any bureaucratic hurdles. For data collection in Africa/ other South Asian country, we seek partnerships with IRBs or startups interested in building IRBs with BMY Health support.
- Training in Knowledge Translation (KT): We provide training in Knowledge Translation, a Canadian specialty that is often a requirement for major Canadian research grants.
- Publications & Real Experience: Students gain tangible outcomes, including real research experience and group-authored publications in medical journals.
And we are offering all of this at a nominal fee during our first year of introduction of this training. With this initiative we seek expansion of our research talent & scope globally and building partners in active research sites, while also advancing global research equity.
Who We Are Looking For:
1. Research Mentors; expert researchers based in Africa/ South Asia with a passion for teaching and guiding the next generation, completing projects with students, authoring while also earning honorariums for their contributions.
2. Referral Partners/ Program leaders/ Startups; educator, consultant, or organizational leader, to introduce/ co-lead our program for their students with a fair share.
Why Join Us?
This isn't just another program. It's a sustainable bridge for knowledge exchange.
- For Students: They gain global exposure and hands-on research experience.
- For You: You become part of a meaningful, collaborative network that empowers the next generation of researchers in Africa/ South Asia.
- For All of Us: Together, we build a future where research knows no borders.
